Your article is a compelling read, however it perpetuates a number of common misconceptions and inaccuracies about the company, man and products. The founder was in fact Cino’s older brother Giotto Cinelli in the war years. Giotto asked his brother to join the company and later gave up his share when he went on to join his father-in-law’s company following his marriage. This can all be demonstrated by a look through the corporate registry in the province of Florence.
