Very nice bike. Since the frame is medium why the Model #18's as opposed to the #14?. They look large on this bike. Were they standard equipment?

Thanks.

In case anyone was wondering, there is a pump peg on this track bike because it was primarily ridden on roads. Thanks, Eric
